What gets listed
A working Model Context Protocol server with public source, a README that explains what it connects to, and an install command someone can run without guessing. That is the whole bar — it does not have to be popular, and it does not have to be finished.
What does not get listed: a repository that only wraps another server without adding anything, a project with no code behind the description, and anything whose install path we cannot verify ourselves. This directory is curated rather than scraped, and that only means something if the review occasionally says no.
What to send
The repository URL, the one-line install command, and a sentence on what the server reaches. If it needs credentials, say which ones and what scope they need — that detail is one of the more useful things on a listing page and one of the hardest for us to work out from the outside.
A list of the tools it exposes helps too. If your README already documents them, a link is enough; we will read it.
What happens next
We install it against at least one client and check that the command in the listing actually starts the server. If it does, it goes up with its category, its install command and whatever we verified. If something does not work, we will tell you what we saw rather than quietly dropping it.
Listings are free. There is no paid placement on this site, and no listing is ranked differently because of who submitted it.

Usually a few days. Each submission is installed and checked by hand, so the queue moves at the speed of that rather than automatically.
Does it cost anything to list an MCP server?
No. Listing is free, there is no paid placement, and no sponsored slots exist on this site to buy.
Can I submit a server I did not write?
Yes. Plenty of the directory is other people's work. Point us at the repository and we will handle the write-up.
How do I get a listing corrected or removed?
Use the contact page. Corrections from a maintainer go in as-is; anything else we check first.
